The arrester comprises multiple solid zinc oxide discs arranged in a cylindrical stack. The number of discs used depends on the voltage rating of the system. The stack is housed inside a cylindrical casing made of polymer or porcelain.

1)YH5WS (Distribution Type): Used for distribution systems.
2)YH5WZ (Power Station Type): Suitable for power stations.
3)YH5WR (Capacitive Type): Designed for capacitive applications.
4)YH5CS (Series Gap): Incorporates a series gap.
5)YH1.5W (Neutral Point Type): Used at neutral points.
6)YH5WX (Line Type): Specifically for transmission lines.
2.Service Conditions: Ambient temperature -50°C to +45°C, max. 1,000 m altitude, frequency 15 - 62 Hz.
