1.Purpose: Spacing devices are installed on the bundles to maintain subconductor separation.
2.Damping Effect: Elastic and damping elements are introduced into the spacing devices to distribute the damping effect along the spans. This prevents entrapment of vibration between spacer dampers and avoids bending stresses at the clamps.

4.Features:
1)Maintain design spacing between subconductors under normal service conditions.
2)Control aeolian vibrations and subspan oscillations within internationally accepted safety limits.

5)Permit movement of subconductors in any direction without damaging spacer components or subconductor strands.
6)Guarantee high corona extinction voltage due to proper clamp design and manufacturing.
7)Withstand a minimum short-circuit current of 63 kA for 1 second.
