Here are some key details about it:
1.Function: The HPRWG1-12F is installed on the high-voltage side of distribution transformers or the support link of distribution lines. It provides protection against short circuits, overloads, and open-circuit conditions.
2.Construction: The cutout consists of an insulating bracket, fuse tubes, static contacts (installed at both ends of the insulation bracket), and moving contacts (installed on both ends of the fuse tube). The fuse tube is composed of an inner arc tube and an outer phenolic paper tube or epoxy glass cloth tube.
3.Operation:
1)During normal operation, the fuse tube is under tension, maintaining a closed position.
2)When a fault occurs, the fault current blows the fuse, creating an electric arc. The arc burns the arc tube, releasing gas and forming a high-pressure environment. The arc elongates and stretches, eventually breaking the circuit.
3)Pull load drop-out fuses enhance flexibility with auxiliary contacts and an arc chute for open-circuit and co-load current situations.
4.Use and Standards:
1)Suitable for 10-35 kV distribution lines, branching lines, and distribution transformers’ primary sides.
2)Used for overload and short-circuit protection, as well as separating and combining rated load currents.
