1.Product Overview:

1)The HPRWG1-12F drop-out fuse cutout is designed to provide reliable protection for electrical systems.

2)It consists of an insulating bracket and a fuse tube.

3)Static contacts are installed at both ends of the insulating bracket, while moving contacts are positioned at both ends of the fuse tube.

4)The fuse tube itself comprises an inner arc tube and an outer layer made of either phenolic paper or epoxy glass cloth.

2.Operation:

1)During normal operation, the fuse tube remains tensioned, maintaining a closed position.

2)When a fault occurs (such as a short circuit), the fault current causes the fuse wire to melt rapidly.

3)The arc generated during this process burns the arc tube, releasing gas and creating high pressure within the tube.

4)The arc elongates and stretches vertically, allowing efficient arc extinguishing.

5)The moving contact loses tension, turns out, and releases the fuse tube, resulting in a breaking position.

3.Pull Load Feature:

1)Some variants of drop-out fuses include a pull load feature.

2)Using an insulating rod, the moving contact can be pulled to disconnect the load.

3)Auxiliary contacts separate during this process, and an arc appears between them.

4)The arc is stretched within the hood slit, and gas within the arc cover helps extinguish it.

5)Once the current reaches zero, the arc goes out.
