1.Application: The RW10-12F and RW10-12F(M) fuse cutouts are suitable for AC 12 kV distribution lines and high-voltage electrical equipment. They serve to protect against overloads and short circuits, handling both opening and closing rated load currents.
2.Structure Features:
1)The fuse cutout consists of two main parts: the base and the arc-extinguishing device.
2)The working contact design resembles a bridge structure.
3)The lower end of the arc-extinguishing tube contains a spring bracket that keeps the fuse under tension. This ensures self-locking when the arc-extinguishing tube is in the closed position.
4)When the line or high-voltage equipment experiences overload or short circuit, the spring bracket rapidly pulls the fuse out of the arc-extinguishing tube, minimizing arc duration and material consumption.
3.Arc-Extinguishing Chamber and Arc Contacts:
1)The fuse cutout features an arc-extinguishing chamber and arc contacts.
2)It can handle both opening and closing rated load currents.
3)During operation, the arc generates at the arc contacts and is extinguished within the arc-extinguishing chamber, protecting the working contacts from arc burns.
4)The arc-extinguishing chamber is made of a new type of engineering plastic.
