The first stop was our company's sample room, where our technician Tian Shaodong briefly introduced our company's best-selling overseas power products. Last week, our Rwandan customer we have been in contact with came to our factory for a week-long factory visit. Accompanied by our general manager Hu Jidong and sales director Zhang Feicui(Ms.Paris), he visited the production factories in Ningbo and Yixing successively and gained an in-depth understanding of the production process and manufacturing technology of our factory. "I believe that the products produced in such a factory must be what we want most." The Rwandan customer generously expressed high affirmation of the standardization and efficiency of the power equipment production in our factory.
After visiting the factory, the customer immediately negotiateswith our business and technical staff on the details of the products to be ordered. Recently, Kenyan customer engineers came to our factory for field study and learning, and our engineer Tian Shaodong warmly received them. In recent years, Burundi has made great efforts in the production of electric energy. With the support of development partners such as the World Bank and the African Development Bank, several national and regional production projects are being implemented with the goal of increasing installed capacity from 78.7 MW in 2020 to 239 MW in 2026, an increase of about 200%.
The project aims to strengthen the 30 kV MT network across Burundi and achieve densification and electrification of the areas around Bujumbura. Our company was fortunate to join the implementation of this project and sent technicians to the project implementation site last week for professional guidance.
Recently, the African Development Bank (AfDB) delegation and Regideso leaders conducted on-site acceptance of Phase 1 of this project and made preliminary plans for the next phase of this project.

Les réseaux de distribution de la ville de Kinshasa sont sujets à beaucoup de problèmes d’exploitation.
La vétusté et la surcharge des équipements et des canalisations MT et BT ne permettent pas d’alimenter en toute fiabilité tant les charges existantes que les nouvelles.
La SNEL sur fonds propres préfinance un programme de remise en conformité de ces réseaux de distribution afin de fiabiliser la desserte en énergie électrique dans la ville de Kinshasa.
De manière brève, la charge de la ville de Kinshasa est alimentée principalement par deux systèmes de distribution primaire :
Le système 220/30/6,6 kV, composé des postes sources, également nommés postes d’injection 220/30kV de Liminga, de Lingwala et de Maluku ainsi que du poste 132/30 kV de Badiadingi qui fournissent l’énergie à la boucle 30 kV, celle-ci alimentant à son tour le réseau de distribution 6,6 kV.Ce système supporte environ 65% de la charge de la Ville.
Le système 220/20 kV qui alimente le nouveau réseau de distribution 20 kV comporte trois postes d’injection 220/20 kV (Funa,Utexco et Makala) et sera très prochainement renforcé par celui de Kimbanseke en cours de construction dans le cadre du projet EASE .
Il est prévu dans le plan directeur de la SNEL que le réseau 20 kV, actuellement en phase de développement, remplace complètement le réseau 6,6 kV.

Le Directeur Général était sur terrain à Kabezi pour suivre les travaux de construction de la ligne trente (30)KV Kabezi – poste Kanyosha qui va être bientôt fonctionnelle : elle va transporter dix(10) Mw produite par la Centrale hydroélectrique de Ruzibazi et, au finish, la Regideso vise acheminer la totalité de l’énergie produite par les trois(3) groupes de cette Centrale.
Le 1er groupe de 5Mw a commencé à produire fin avril 2022 et le dernier fin Mai. Aujourd’hui, 5MW de cette centrale sont déjà injectés dans le réseau électrique du sud du pays. L’énergie restante va être injectée dans le réseau via Bujumbura.
Enfin, l’ autre souci du Directeur Général est la protection de l’environnement pendant l’abattage des arbres, la fixation des poteaux métalliques le long du corridor de la ligne 30kv. Le respect des normes environnementales reste de mise.

Project News:
The project, which is expected o be completed by the end of 2023, includes the construction of a dual fuel diesel power generation station and associated works and accessories, the expansion and development of the transmission network, the measurements, protection, control, and communication systems, and consulting services. The project includes the following main components:
Damerjog Power Generation Station: This includes the construction of Phase I of a diesel powered generation station with installed capacity of 50MW which operates on natural gas and heavy fuel oil, and all civil, mechanical and electrical works for the project’s Phases I and II.
Expansion and Development of the Transmission Network: This includes the construction of two new substations, the expansion and development of two existing substations, the installation of aerial power lines, and the laying of power cables, in addition to civil and electrical works and accessories. This includes the following components:
Nagad Substation: This includes the procurement and installation of equipment and the construction of a new 100 MVA air-insulated substation operating on 230/63/20 kV, as well as civil and electrical works, and systems for measurement, protection, control, and communications, and their accessories.
